Expansive rural British landscape with footpath

Your village, the coast path, the cottage you rented for the week.

Every footpath, bridleway and green lane in Great Britain is in the map. Luups doesn't need a community to have walked it first — if it's a right of way, it's already there.

What's physically in the way.

Stiles, kissing gates, cattle grids, steps. Luups knows what's on each path segment and routes around obstacles that don't suit your dog — or you.

Learns your specific dog.

Two routes from the same front door. The right one is six months later.

Rescue dog looking alert on a walk

The reactive rescue

Walks you both look forward to.

Luups learns which encounters stress your dog and builds routes that avoid pinch-points, busy lanes and narrow paths where you can't create distance.

Senior spaniel walking calmly on a country lane

The senior spaniel

Good walks at every pace.

Shorter doesn't have to mean boring. Luups adjusts distance, gradient and surface so older dogs still get variety without overdoing it.

Routes worth the effort.

Working breeds need mileage and new ground. Luups finds longer loops, off-road trails and routes you haven't done before — right from your door.

No idea how much is right — and that's fine.

New puppy owners don't need another article telling them "it depends on the breed." They need a walk that's actually right for their actual dog, today, adjusting as the puppy grows.

Luups starts cautious and adapts. You walk, it watches pace and energy, and the next route is better. No questionnaire. No breed calculator. Just walk.

Dramatic coastal path suitable for dog walking

Somewhere you don't know, with a dog you do.

Holiday walks shouldn't mean guessing a route from a car park and hoping the path doesn't dead-end at a fence. Luups already knows the area — you just need to tell it where you're staying.

It picks up your dog's preferences from home walks and applies them to unfamiliar ground: the right distance, the right surfaces, the right amount of climb — so an older dog gets the same gentler pace on holiday as they do on their usual lanes.

Routes change with heat, ground temperature and daylight.

A perfect route in March can be dangerous in July. Luups checks forecast temperature, UV and sunset time before suggesting a walk. On hot days it favours shaded paths, shorter loops and routes near water. On short winter days it keeps to lit lanes or finishes before dark.

No collar.
No tracker.

Just your phone. If you can walk it, Luups can learn from it.

Every walk, thought through.

Routes built around your dog

  • Walks matched to your dog's size, age and energy
  • Distances that fit what they've actually got in them
  • Learns your dog's real pace from your walks, not a breed average

Made for the countryside, not just the city

  • Routes around stiles, kissing gates and cattle grids — sized to your dog
  • Finds the off-lead spots, dog parks and secure fields nearby
  • Works down every footpath, bridleway and green lane, not just mapped towns

Walks that suit the day

  • Shadier, softer, shorter routes when it's hot
  • Gentler on the climbs — and the descents, which are harder on older dogs
  • Keeps you on lit paths when you're walking after dark

Routes worth taking

  • Loops built around the places dogs love — water, green space, a bench to rest at
  • Step-by-step plans for recovery, puppies, seniors or building fitness
  • Somewhere different every time, so walks never get stale
